Project scope
Works included breeching new 95mm² waveform cable to the existing UKPN provided POC (5c.1 Cu), laying approximately 75 metres of waveform cable along Aycliffe Road, and providing 9 single phase residential service connections plus a whole current three phase connection for the on site community centre.
Traffic management was delivered under a four way traffic light scheme with a full road closure and a signed diversion route via Allerton Road and Buckton Road. Works were carried out adjacent to a live school and surgery, requiring close coordination with neighbours and frontages throughout the programme.
Key deliverables included:
- ~75m LV 95mm² waveform cable installed in highway
- 9 single phase residential connections (35AL CNE)
- One three phase community centre connection (100A)
- Four way traffic lights with full road closure and diversion
