Rospower delivered the full LV electricity network for Plots 1 to 14 at Meadow Vale, a new residential development on Anstey Lane, Alton, working in partnership with UK Power Connections (UKPC).

Project scope

Works were carried out along a live public highway and included excavation and reinstatement, installation of approximately 380 metres of 185/300mm² aluminium waveform cable, 14 single phase residential service connections with 100A cut outs and metering, and full traffic management under two way portable traffic signals with TUSC.

Key deliverables included:

  • 380m LV waveform cable installed in highway and footpath
  • 14 residential connections using 35AL CNE service cables
  • Live highway working with two way traffic lights and TUSC
  • Full road reinstatement including asphalt surfacing
  • Coordination with UCSL Design and the DNO throughout

Compliance

All works were delivered in compliance with SSE and MUA G81 specifications and the Safety at Streetworks Code of Practice 2013, with materials and installation methods signed off for adoption onto the local distribution network.
